Description:
Designed and build with Desuups for Desuups under royal project Dessung Skilling Programe. All construction was part of a skilling program for team of 35 voulenteers - students with basics skills under my guidance. Main building features fully insulated stick frame skelet covered by board & batten cypress cladding from trees that had to be cut while site clearing, double glazed windows made on site and custom hot air heating system distributing heat to all rooms from single wood stove.
TTI CHUMEY

Traditionally looking object was designed as a model construction demonstrating principless of energy efficiency and was constructed as a product of training in Technical Training Institute Chumey under Ministry of Labour and Human Settlements. 15 unskilled students completed the construction in less than 5 months under our guidance. On area of 50 sqm it can accommodate up to 6 guest providing full comfort of modern building while maintaining traditional look required by strict regulations of Bumthang region. In cooperation with company from Czech Republic a root waste water purifying system was installed.

Description:
This system was designed for royal projects Dessung and Gyalsung to provide prefabricated modular and easy to assemble solution supplying full infrastructure in an event of natural disaster. Various number of house segments can be connected forming building of desired size from 1 single segment serving as portable toilets up to 10 segments creating field hospital or kitchen. Timber frame panels with Rockwool insulation are fully prefabricated in workshop, than transported on site where assembled in a matter of few hours without a need of foundations or any skilled labour thanks to a series of hinges connecting walls and roofs allowing the entire segment to easily unfold or fold into a compact package. First 2 prototypes were build as part of Dessung Skilling Programme training on basic carpentry and more prototypes are currently in production.
